Well its that time of year again.Race season is well and truly upon us.My first race was a road race at Darley moor motor racing circuit just outside of Ashbourne in Derbyshire.My goal for this race was to finish with the main group and not get dropped like the last few years i have raced there(since i started mtb racing i seem to have lost all my speed).To my delight i did finish with the bunch and felt strong and fast too which is good news as i fly to Gran Canaria this weekend to compete in the big international mountain bike marathon.The race split late on and breakaway of 11 riders finished a few seconds clear of the bunch so all placings and prizes were spoken for.Back there again on the 27th march for another shot.
